Beyond 5G (B5G) moves beyond the technologies that shaped 5G, creating a pathway for the 6G technologies that will make a hyper-connected world possible. B5G evolution tracks industry trends like higher frequency bands, the fusion of wireless with AI/ML, and edge and cloud native computing, which offer clues to what 6G technologies may look like in the future.

Under the guidance of InterDigital’s Doug Castor, panelists from NTT DoCoMo, Keysight, MIT, the ONF and the Small Cell Forum explore different ways to reimagine wireless network architecture to support new KPIs and encourage the evolution of the architecture to support 6G.
