Leveraging 5G and Beyond (XG) in Battle Domains

The US Department of Defense (DoD) seeks fifth generation (5G) solutions to help “master advanced communications technologies and ubiquitous connectivity [which] will have a long-term economic and military advantage.” 5G promises better connectivity, low latency and faster speeds than ever before which will give US defense forces a competitive edge. In this symposium, we will tackle key challenges facing the DoD and dive deeper into technical issues, including artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), edge computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Open Software for the RAN (O-RAN), Algorithm-as-a-Service (AaaS), 5G space satellite communications and much more.

The 5G to XG US Defense Symposium will bring together leaders from across government, academia, industry and beyond to help address critical issues such as multi-network battle domains facing the DoD and to look at what is on the horizon for public and private sector collaboration in the 5G defense sector. Please join us as we further the debate on how industry can support the warfighter using 5G technology addressing both the technology and policy obstacles facing the DoD.

Speaking opportunities are still available in the following panels:

  • Extending Communications Standards to Support 5G to XG US Defense
  • Public-Private Sector Collaboration on 5G to XG US Defense

If you are interested in being a panelist and/or keynote then please reach out to the organisers here
