Pierre Jannin

Pierre Jannin, as a research director in digital technology for health care as professional activities and background, he has been elected at the City of Rennes in 2020 as a councillor in charge of digital and innovation. He managed a citizen participation initiative on 5G technology dissemination on the city. Following this first initiative, he set up a long-term committee with again randomly selected citizens to study and address main challenges on responsible digital technology and to emit proposals. He recently proposed a report introducing the public politics related to digital technology for the city.

He is also member of the administrative council of the national association gathering councillors in charge of digital technology from all French cities (Interconnectés committee from France Urbaine) and member of the national committee for 5G technology as representative of the Interconnectés.
