Founder, More With Mobile

Dr. Ken Figueredo works with organizations that are developing new markets at the intersection of business strategy and technology innovation. After a decade in telecommunications consulting, he helped the GSMA to develop and launch its Connected Living market-development program and propel the mobile industry into the IoT and adjacent-industry opportunities.
Mobile communications and standardization are central to Ken’s work. His projects have involved market-testing mobile communications as a foundation to distribute Central Bank Digital Currencies and, more recently, research into the market dynamics that are shaping 6G expectations. In the area of standardization, Ken’s projects include the development of new standards for interoperable IoT systems, an analysis of requirements to standardize the combination of AI with IoT and, the use of standards-based data-exchanges to enable multi-party collaboration in smart city and multi-modal transportation networks.
Ken is a regular speaker at industry events in Asia, Europe and North America. He publishes on a broad range of industry topics and across a range of IEEE, industry-alliance and trade publications. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a PhD in Self-learning Control Systems from the University of Bath (UK).
